wall, it mirrors us all..." (lyric from 'Orchestrated

UPDATE!!... May 11, 2009...
Hello Everyone! I'm still working on the big move out. I finally posted prices on the guitars I have for sale. I hope you can find something you need. If you have any musician friends, please steer them to this website. There are some really great axes for players of all levels, many at unbeatable prices. If there's a description problem, or you need more info or pictures, please let me know. As much as I hate to part with many of these instruments, it will be a big relief for me to see them get new homes. I'll continue pricing the other stuff in the coming weeks, but if you have questions, please contact me.
In addition to the instruments and other gear, there are lots of things in the office and live room I have to get rid of. Bookcase style storage shelves, computer desk, work station, stages, keyboard rack, equipment racks... too much stuff to mention. If you're in need of anything along these lines, please contact me and we'll work something out that's beneficial for both of us!
On an unrelated front, Spider Kelly has been blessed to have many old friends popping up out of the woodwork lately. There's talk of another Geezerfest, hopefully in 2010, and maybe in Washington where old friends Peggy Liebermann and her husband Richard Bradberry have a restaurant and bar in a beautiful scenic location near the Oregon border. There would be plenty of logistics to work out, but it sounds like fun and I'm feeling the pressure to make it happen. What do you think? Please visit the Spider Kelly website, check out the guestbook and let us know your thoughts.
Thanks for being here. I really appreciate you. Wishing you all peace, happiness and good stuff, as always....

UPDATE!!... January 20, 2009...
It's been 16 wonderful years... productive years, full of music, creativity, brotherhood and artistic delight. I wish it could go on forever, but the time has come to prepare for the closing of the doors here at Musclehead. The lease, which will be up for renewal again at the end of July, has gone up substantially the past few years. Regrettably, it will no longer be financially feasible to keep the doors open. I'm sure the friendships that have been made here will go on forever, and the walls will, no-doubt, endlessly vibrate with the ghosts of the joyous noise that's been made within these friendly confines. The music fills the air forever. It is always there. At Musclehead, we've worked tirelessly for the common goal, believing in the credo "it's all about the music." We've strived to live by the Golden Rule. We've been mindful to keep our karma clean and our consciences clear. Hopefully, the hundreds of demos we've recorded, mostly on spec, will continue to make the rounds and will eventually bring in some royalties. I truly hope that each and every entity, band and solo artist we've worked with will continue on to greater and greater successes... musically, spiritually and personally...
... but for now, the daunting task of liquidating 16 years worth of accumulation is upon us. Everything will have to go. The entire recording chain, full live rehearsal setup, JBL speaker system, all playback devices, amplifiers, guitars, basses, effects, Tama drum set, Plexiglas drum gobo, stages, lights, cords, everything, will have to go. Over the next few weeks, I will be going through the entire studio and making up a list of salable items. Watch this space for a complete inventory. I'll be needing your help to put the word out. There will be many unbelievable bargains, as I won't have room to take anything with me except for the thousands of tapes (literally) that seem to be filed and stacked in every corner of the studio. Everything must go! What do you need? I can probably let you have it cheap! Now's the time to get that back-up tele or SG type guitar you've been wanting! Lots of used guitars and basses in the $100-$200 range. More info and complete inventory to come soon...
